HYDERABAD: BJP senior leader and former Union minister B Dattatreya has demanded that ministers Jupalli Krishna Rao and DK Aruna resign on their own or the chief minister dismiss them from the cabinet. Talking with reporters here on Sunday, he said the ministers became law-breakers. “The two ministers were arrested by the police and such a thing never happened in the political history of the state,” he said and apprehended that it might lead to a constitutional crisis in the state. He criticised chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and PCC president D Srinivas for terming the ministers’ street fight as personal rivalry. The ministers violated law and damaged the Telugu people pride at the national level, he said. “The stature of the chief minister has gone down in the eyes of the Congress high command.’’
