Dialogue writer Ramnarayan debuts as a film director with 'Snehitharu', a film based on the Mahabharath episode. The film is coming from Soundarya Jagadish, who is known for big budget and multi-star cast films. Snehitharu will be their third film after 'Mast Maja Maadi' and 'Appu Pappu'.
“This film will see 50 well known faces of the Kannada industry with main characters being Master Snehith, Vijay Raghavendra, Tarun, Srujan Lokesh,Ravishankar with Praneetha Subhash as the leading lady,” says Soundarya Jagadish.
The film will also see 'Challenging Star' Darshan in a guest appearance and Nikitha Thukral sizzling for a special song in the film. “The fact is that bringing around so many characters into one family entertainment drama was quite an achievement and to top it all, V Harikrishna’s son, Aadi who is just 10 years old has lent his magical voice to one of the songs in the film. The song Naanu Illi Yellarigu Snehita written by Ramnarayan and Shivamogga Shyam, is sung by V Harikrishna along with his son Aadi and wife Vani who is also a singer and daughter of music composer GK Venkatesh.
Harikrishna who composes music was excited when he heard his son singing for the first time. “I know he plays piano and mrudangam, but I have never listened to his singing. It was director Ramnarayan and producer Soundarya Jagadish who insisted that he sing for the film and all the credit goes to them." Soundarya adds. Harikrishna who started with Jote Joteyalli has composed music for almost 50 Kannada films and there is more to come from this creative music composer. Perhaps this is the first time that all three singers from one family is lending their voice for one film song. “I am shaping his career so that he becomes a good musician. He has learnt the style of singing and clarity is a big issue, which he has picked up very well. I am not saying this because he is my son, but I felt a new talent is created. Now I feel it is all in the family,” says Harikrishna.
