Kiran Kumar Reddy cautions cops on media wars

HYDERABAD: It was a police duty meet but Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy used the opportunity to target media.“Media houses are competing with each another and we should not fall prey to them,” he said and soon added that winning the respect of people was easy but maintaining it was tough.The chief minister was speaking at the valedictory of 54th Annual Police Duty Meet at Andhra Pradesh Police Academy here on Friday.The chief minister urged cops to continue the legacy of AP Police’s participation in the National Police Duty Meet to be held in Nasik in February next year. Later, he presented the awards to winners in the three-day competitions.Cultural programmes performed by young cops drew applause
