Man Robs Father-in-law's House in Delhi For Easy Money, Arrested
A 27-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly stealing jewellery from his father-in-law's house in Geeta Colony area of east Delhi, police said on Tuesday.

New Delhi: A 27-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly stealing jewellery from his father-in-law's house in Geeta Colony area of east Delhi, police said on Tuesday.

On April 7, Harikishan approached police with a complaint that jewellery had been stolen from his house.

During investigation, CCTV footage of the surrounding area was examined and the needle of suspicion went towards the complainant's son-in-law named Love, police said.

A security guard also said that he had seen Love around the house on the day of the theft when the family wasn't present.

He was interrogated and it was found that he had carried out the theft.

"The accused disclosed that he wanted to earn more money in a short span of time. On April 6, he invited his wife's family for dinner. At about 10.15 pm, he left the house on the pretext of bringing ice cream and committed the theft at his father in law's house, Shahdara DCP Nupur Prasad said.
