In an attempt to woo voters to back their respective parties in poll-bound Chhattisgarh, PM Manmohan Singh and BJP veteran LK Advani will address rallies in the state on Saturday.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is scheduled to hold a rally in the state capital Raipur to drum up support for Congress Chief Ministerial candidate Ajit Jogi while LK Advani is expected to address the rallies in Kasdol, Bilaspur and Bhatapara to garner votes for Raman Singh.
Security has been heightened across the state to face any untoward incident.
Notably, Rahul Gandhi on Friday had visited the state and addressed two rallies in Kanker and Rajnandgaon.
Chhattisgarh will go to polls in two phases on November 11 and 19. Counting of votes will be held on December 8.
