BANGALORE: Work taken under Cauvery IV Phase II Stage has been affected due to lack of skilled labourers. Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board Minister (BWSSB) S Suresh Kumar late on Tuesday night inspected the work and said that the issue would be looked into.Around 10 pm on Tuesday night, the minister, accompanied by senior officials of the BWSSB including chief Engineer Narayan, inspected the ongoing construction work of Ground Level Reservoir at Narayanapur near Mahadevapura. It is learnt that significant progress on the construction has been made with moulding work scheduled to be taken up next week. Shortage of skilled labourers like bar benders is an issue but the minister instructed that work needs to be completed by December and henceforth the work should be completed soon.
