In a move to buck up all those children trying hard to please their mothers this Mother’s Day, ‘The New Indian Express’ is organising a Mother’s Day Essay Contest in conjunction with the AGP Home Centre.Those in the age group of 8-12 years are eligible to take part in the contest by sending in a write-up on the topic ‘My mother is the best’.The entries must be handwritten either in English or in Malayalam.Two best entries from both languages will be selected for the prizes.The essays may be sent to the Manager (Marketing), The New Indian Express, Express House, Kaloor, Kochi-682017 on or before May 25.For details, call on 0484-2402220.
