Bangalore: A city court has granted permission to investigating authorities to conduct narco-analysis test on Nadeem Kashmiri, the HSBC employee accused of BPO fraud, a senior Corps of Detectives (COD) official said.
The Additional Chief Magistrate's Court accepted the plea of COD that since 'polygraph and brain-mapping tests clearly revealed he was lying', they should be granted permission to conduct narco-analysis tests.
The court has now given permission to FSL to conduct the test, Deputy Inspector General of Police COD, Sanjay Vir Singh said.
Kashmiri was produced before the court on Wednesday.
Working for the HSBC BPO arm, Kasmiri was nabbed on June 27 on the basis of the complaint lodged by the company with the cyber crime unit of COD, naming him in the fraud involving siphoning of 2,33,000 pounds.
