A Lucknow court issued a NBW against suspended BJP leader Dayashankar Singh for comparing BSP chief Mayawati to a sex worker.
A Lucknow court has issued a Non-Bailable Warrant (NBW) against suspended Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Dayashankar Singh for making objectionable remarks about Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati.
Singh was suspended from BJP recently after he criticised Mayawati's ticket distribution system and compared her to a sex worker.
BSP members had then filed a case against Singh, who has been missing since the incident last week.
Singh's wife Swati had alleged that BSP members were harassing her and her 12-year-old daughter after the incident. She also filed an FIR against the BSP chief for mental trauma.
