HYDERABAD: With heavy traffic and narrow road from Airtel (Wellington) Junction to Secunderabad Club gate, traffic police have decided to introduce reversible lane for smooth traffic movement near Secunderabad Club Junction. The reversible lane traffic method is already being implemented on SP Road in Begumpet, Alugaddabavi and Malakpet road under bridges (RUBs) to clear traffic snarls built up due to bottlenecks.Additional commissioner of police (Traffic) CV Anand said the reversible lane traffic would be introduced at Secunderabad Club Junction especially during peak hours to reduce traffic congestion. The reversible lane method will be run only during peak hours or when traffic coming from Karkhana side is very heavy, Anand added. The following traffic changes are proposed: - Vehicles coming from Airtel (Wellington) Junction towards NCC junction will be allowed in the opposite road (reversible lane) from the gap being created in the divider - When the traffic in the reversible lane is allowed, traffic coming from Tivoli junction towards Airtel (Wellington) junction/ Secunderabad Club in-gate will be diverted at NCC junction to the sub-station road (backside of Kendriya Vidyalaya) from where they can join the main road near Secunderabad Club gate 2.
