News briefs: Nalanda University to get USD 6 million for library project
The Nalanda University (NU) will be getting six million dollars for the proposed mega library project. Singapore’s minister for foreign affairs, who visited Rajgir on Monday, said that three acclaimed academicians had agreed to donate the funds which would be required to shape a world class library.

Patna: AISF to organise district level conference

The AISF would organise district level conference on August 17 and 18. Prior to the main conference, it would organise smaller conferences in every college. Announcing this on Monday, AISF state secretary Vishwajeet Kumar said that the conference would aim at giving a new direction to the student organisation and strengthening it.

Patna: Nalanda Open University declares exam dates

The dates for post graduation Part two examination of Nalanda Open University (NOP) have been declared. Apart from MA, MSc Environmental Science and Civil Studies dates of other courses have been declared. Exams are supposedly to start from 12 August and will continue till 31 August. 

Gaya: Gaya College organises tree plantation programme

The Gaya College on Monday organised a tree plantation programme. The principal of the college along with other teachers were present during the programme. The programme was initiated keeping in mind the necessity of having trees and maintaining greenery inside the campus.
