HYDERABAD: Telangana Rashtra Samiti chief K Chandrasekhar Rao said on Monday that he got no commitment on Telangana from Manmohan Singh when he took a delegation of the TJAC to the Prime Minister. At the end of a day on which TJAC leaders met several national political leaders including Union minister S Jaipal Reddy, CPI leader A B Bardhan and BJP leader Sushma Swaraj, Chandrasekhar Rao told the media: "The Prime Minister only said he is aware of the intensity of the Telangana movement and the need to find an early solution. He said he needed more time. Except that there was no specific commitment from him. We are not satisfied with his response. We will continue to fight."The TRS leader said that if the Centre does not deliver Telagnana, the Sakala Janula Samme would go on and that he would go on an indefinite hunger strike, if necessary. "The TJAC would decide where and when the fast will take place," he said.He said he had made it clear to the Prime Minister that the rail roko on October 9-11 would be very severe if the Congress did not come out with a specific time frame and a road map for a separate state. The Prime Minister, according to KCR, wanted TJAC to call off the strike but they had told him that the issue was no longer in the TJAC's hands now."The people of Telangana are very angry with the Congress. Unless the Congress clearly spells out how it is going to deliver Telangana, there is no way the strike can be called off. The people and employees are not in a mood to celebrate even Dasara. They want only Telangana and move by the Congress in that direction," he said.
