The govt is constituting a committee to review the strikers grievances.

New Delhi: There is little relief for commuters because even as the oil PSU employees' strike is officially over, it will take about 36 hours before petrol pumps across the country become fully functional again.

In Delhi, most petrol pumps will start working by afternoon. In Bangalore and Hyderabad, 60 per cent of all pumps have been refilled. The Gen secreatary of Delhi Petrol dealers association said that the situation in Delhi would normalise by evening .

In Chennai, 58 HPCL and 162 BPCL petrol pumps have already been refilled while 60 IOC petrol pumps are to be refilled on Saturday.

The government has refused to give in to the strikers' demands. But it is constituting a committee to review their grievances within 30 days.
