A person was injured in a fight between two groups at the Udupi-Manipal highway near Karnataka’s Kunjibettu area last week. According to police, six people were involved in the fight, two of whom were arrested on Saturday, while four others are on the run.
The police action came after a video of the alleged gang war, which occurred on the night of May 18, went viral on social media today.
The video, which seems to be taken from a high-rise near the road where the fight happened, showed two Maruti Swift cars involved in the incident.

One of the cars reversed in speed and crushed the other car’s bonnet. Soon, men from both cars got out and started hitting each other. Later, one of the cars rammed a man and mowed him. The impact threw him to the ground, where he lay injured while others continued their fight.
According to a media report, the fight broke out over a financial dispute.
The two arrested accused belonged to one Garuda gang of Kaup, Hindu reported quoting police.
Police have registered a case into the matter and recovered two cars and two motorcycles, one sword and one dagger from the accused.
They have also formed a search team to look out for others involved in the incident.
