KOCHI: Australia has said that it will expand its business portfolio in India.Trade Commissioner of Australia Michael Carter said this during an interactive meeting organised by the Kerala Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) at the Chamber Hall here. He promised to provide more business opportunities to Indian entrepreneurs in Australia.During his address, he spoke about the scope of agri-business, food-processing and education in Australia and mentioned that Australia was looking forward to take bilateral trade with India to the next level. He also extended full support to work with the KCCI to develop trade in Kerala.An MoU was signed between the KCCI and the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), US, to explore and develop business opportunities in the US and for mutual exchange of information. Bruce Corrie, Director, ICC, US, spoke about the need to increase investments by Indians in the US and vice-versa.Among those who spoke on the occasion were Deepak L Aswani, Chairman, KCCI; Varghese Thomas, Director, and Savio Mathew, Secretary.
