Paes-Stosur bow out of mixed doubles

New Delhi: India's Leander Paes and partner Samantha Stosur are out of the Australian Open mixed doubles after losing to Canadian Daniel Nestor and Russian Elena Likhovtseva in straight sets in the quarter-finals on Thursday.

The Indo-Aussie pair could not hold on to their lead in the first set, losing it in the tie-breaker.

After that the unseeded pair of Nestor and Likhovtseva played some great tennis to overcome the third seeds, beating them 7-6, 6-1.
