Paravoor sex scandal victim to be rehabilitated

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on Tuesday assured the Assembly that not a single culprit in the Paravur sex scandal case would be allowed to escape.Replying to questions in the house, he said that the incident posed a question mark before the collective conscience of Kerala."The Government has taken all steps to properly rehabilitate and protect the girl and her family. The Ernakulam District Collector and the Range IG have been given the necessary instructions. Not a single culprit will go scotfree. All of the accused have been identified and half of them arrested. Others too will be arrested soon," he said.Similar steps are being taken in the Kothamangalam sex scandal case also, he said.
