BANGALORE: Fresh trouble for Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa erupted as the High Court on Wednesday issued notice to him for his alleged role in the allotment of a civic amenity (CA) site of BDA to PES educational trust.
The court issued notice to Yeddyurappa and others following a public interest litigation (PIL) filed by one K M Sreedhar, a resident of Hanumanthangar, alleging the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) of allotting the site to M R Doreswamy, MLC and chairman, PES educational trust, for a paltry amount at the behest of the CM. The division bench headed by Chief Justice J S Khehar and Justice H G Ramesh issued notices to PES, BDA, Urban Development Department and the Chief Secretary of the government for allotting the site measuring 115X140 ft in Hanumanthangar to PES.

Justice D V Shylendra Kumar ordered an investigation stating that it seems to be a fraud of the authorities.
