Pilgrims get training in Haj rituals

HYDERABAD: A day-long orientation training camp for Haj pilgrims was organised by the AP State Haj Committee on Sunday. This is the first in a series of training camps which will be conducted for people intending to go on the pilgrimage. The minister for Minorities Welfare Mohammed Ahmadullah inaugurated the camp.Members of the state Haj Committee Mufti Sadiq Mohiuddin, Mohammed Baig, Mahmood Hussain and others delivered lectures on Manasik-e-Haj, Umrah and Ziarath-e-Madinah Munnawarah, which are Haj and Umrah rituals, for benefit of the pilgrims. A practical demonstration for wearing Ehram was also done.“This year the government has allowed older people above seventy years to take the holy trip with a companion,” said chairman of AP State Haj Committee.
