KOLLAM: Expressing ire in his customary style, Kerala Congress (B) chairman R Balakrishna Pillai slammed the action of his son and Minister K B Ganesh Kumar, who staged a walk out from the party meeting in Wayanad. Addressing the district meet of the party here on Saturday, he said that it was unbecoming of a leader to be in one party and acting according to the whims of others. “Whatever be the stature of a leader, he is bound to heed to the criticisms and opinions of party workers,” he said, adding that the decision on action against the minister would be taken in the party state committee to be held on February 7. Turning his anger towards V S Achuthanandan, Pillai said that with the completion of the CPM state conference, the Opposition Leader would become a ‘big zero’ in the party. On the posters of Jesus Christ appearing in the history expo as part of the CPM meet, he termed it as a paradox to present the poster of Stalin and Jesus at the same venue. “It is a CPM pact targeting the Christian vote bank,” he said.
