Pune: Two women and a two-year-old girl were found murdered in their house in Pune on Thursday night.
The victims, residents of Pancharatna society in Ghorpadi area of the city, were stabbed to death while the child was strangled.
Their neighbour, a man, has been seriously injured after being attacked with an iron rod. He has sustained serious head injuries. The police said that it could have been a robbery attempt which went horribly wrong.
The two women, of Mashlekar family were aged 50 and 25 respectively.
