The raids were conducted on the Spencer Super Market, Spencer Junction, S and V Cold Storage, SS Cold Storage, margin free market shops at Medical College and Paruthipara and Spencer Supermarket at LIC Junction. Fine will be imposed on the shops, the Corporation Health Officer said in a statement. The Corporation has warned strict action against illegal meat selling.Stale meat was seized from Mammoos Hotel, Sasthamangalam, Lakshmi Hotel, Kanjirampara, Lakshmi Hotel, Thozhuvancode, Devi Hotel and Stall no. 6 of Vattiyoorkavu market. Stale food was seized from Sree Bhadra Hotel, Thiruvallam.
