THIORUVANANTHAPURAM: AICC general secretary Madhusudan Mistry arrived here on Saturday with an agenda to plough his way into the long-awaited revamp of the KPCC and DCCs. He will tour the state, excluding Kannur and Kasargod districts, and meet leaders and workers for a week, to take stock of the ground realities.Talking to mediapersons here, Mistry said that the one-man-one-post rule would be followed in the reorganisation process. However, the general secretary was not able to set a definite time-frame, though the idea was to finish the job by this month-end. ‘’I can’t give you a specific time-frame within which the process would be completed,”he maintained. With the opinions of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, KPCC chief Ramesh Chennithala, and other leaders in hand, Mistry began his mission by visiting several DCCs. He was received at the DCC here by Transport Minister and president V S Sivakumar and others.
