New Delhi: The Delhi High Court on Wednesday dismissed a PIL seeking more security for Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

The HC ruled that Kejriwal was aware of his duties and no one could force him to take security.

Delhi Police told the court that Kejriwal has refused to accept security. Police also informed that despite the CM's refusal, it has been taking adequate security measure by security personnel in plain clothes and intelligence units for his security.

AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal had said in his manifestos that if voted to power, he and his ministers would not take any special security.
