CHENNAI: A blend of Salman Khan’s Dabangg image and his big hearted gestures, makes him a ‘Perfect Father Figure’, according to the latest Shaadi.com survey, which asked the Indian youth who they feel would make an Ideal Indian Celebrity Father. Salman Khan led the survey with 39.9 per cent of respondents suggesting that he would make the most ideal father. The poll was conducted on the occasion of Father’s Day and received responses from over 9,820 Shaadi.com members across India.Amongst the poll options, the survey reveals that India wants to see the humble and kind-hearted Salman take on a new role in real life and settle down with a family. Not too far behind Salman, was Rahul Gandhi with 31 per cent. Other contenders were Ranbir Kapoor (12.5 per cent), Yuvraj Singh and Virat Kohli who got the least votes (9.2 and 7.4 per cent respectively) suggesting that they’re still considered eligible bachelors not yet ready to take on fatherhood.
