New Delhi: Samsung Galaxy S4 mini, which was recently spotted on Samsung's apps site, is likely to be unveiled at Samsung's June 20 event to be held in London, reports the Wall Street Journal.
The report further says that the Galaxy S4 mini is expected to be one of the several new products that Samsung plans to launch at the event. Besides the Galaxy S4 mini, Samsung will unveil new Android and Windows 8 devices. This is evident after the company posted a new image in its press release section on its press website for mobile devices. The post says, "Samsung Premiere 2013 Galaxy & Ativ".
The launch of the pint-sized version of Samsung's flagship device, Galaxy S4, should not come as a surprise, as the company last year launched the Galaxy S III mini after the launch of Galaxy S III.
If rumours are to be believed, the Galaxy S4 mini will come with a 4.3-inch (Super AMOLED 960x540) display, a 1.6GHz processor, an 8-megapixel camera, and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS.
Samsung will be live streaming the event on its YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/SamsungMobile).
The event, scheduled for June 20, will happen just one week after Apple's yearly developer conference, WWDC. Apple usually makes significant announcements about its upcoming software and hardware at the WWDC conference.
Besides, Microsoft has also scheduled its 2013 Build conference, which is scheduled to begin on June 26. Microsoft is likely to unveil Windows Blue, an update to Windows 8.
