KADAPA: Samaikyandhra political JAC state convenor Prof Samuel called upon people and leaders cutting across party lines to be ready to sacrifice for the cause of united state.Addressing a meeting organised by Samaikyandhra students Joint Action Committee (JAC) here on Wednesday, he recalled the sacrifices made by Potti Sreeramulu and Boorgula Ramakrishna Rao for bringing all Telugu speaking people under one state. He reiterated that they will not allow bifurcation of the state.Accusing Telangana Rashtra Samithi chief K Chandrasekhar Rao and Telangana political JAC chairman Prof Kodandaram of hatching a high-level political conspiracy in Telangana, he wanted the people's representatives from the Seemandhra region to gear up to sacrifice for the cause of unified state. Taking exception to the repeal of Clause 14 (f) from the Presidential Order, he assured to strive for restoration of the clause by moving the court.Speaking on the occasion, Samaikyandhra JAC district leaders Ch Chandrasekhar Reddy, former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy, MLAs C Audinarayana Reddy, G Srikanth Reddy and K Srinivasulu, MLCs C Narayana Reddy and B Pullaiah, DCC president M Ashok Kumar, PRP district president Hariprasad, TDP state secretary Govardhan Reddy and others expressed concern that backward Rayalaseema and north coastal region would be the worst affected if the state was bifurcated.They said the state must be unified till all regions witnessed equal development in all sectors. They demanded that all projects taken up under the Jalayagnam must be completed on a war-footing basis.
