New Delhi: At a time when road accidents have become a regular feature on Indian roads, the latest episode of 'Satyamev Jayat' highlighted the importance of road safety in India.
From overloading, to bad roads, to lack of road education- several factors which lead to accidents, were highlighted on the show by host Aamir Khan on Sunday's episode.
The show explained that poor infrastructure, poor maintenance of roads and bad road designs also lead to accidents on the road regularly in India. Not always, the driver is at fault, in an accident.
While highlighting the issues that government needs to address urgently to avoid accidents on road, Aamir also urged citizens of the country to lend help to those in need. The show highlighted that how many lives are lost in such accidents only because of lack of help from the onlookers and late medical assistance.
