Umesh Babu, who turned a bitter foe of the official wing of the CPM after his isolation from the party circles, disclosed that he was also in the hitlist of the CPM along with RMP leader T P Chandrasekharan. K K Rema, wife of the slain RMP leader T P Chandrasekharan, received the first copy of the book from Veerendrakumar.

K C Umesh Babu, a pro-CPM progressive writer who was expelled from the Left camp a couple of years ago, presided over the function.
