Shoe hurled at MLA in Odisha

JAIPUR: Four persons were injured in a clash between supporters and dissidents of former minister and Binjharpur legislator Pramila Mallick on Monday. The incident occurred when during a public gathering of BJD, a shoe was hurled at Mallick in Guhali village under Binjharpur block. This led to a clash between the two groups in which four persons sustained injuries. Though they were admitted to a local hospital, one of them was shifted to district headquarters hospital after his condition deteriorated.The police, however, are yet to receive any complaint from both the sides. Police deployment has been made in the village, said SP Deepak Kumar.
