CHENNAI: Singapore today evinced interest in investing on infrastructure projects in Tamil Nadu.Singapore High Commissioner-designate to India Karen Tan expressed the city-state's keeness to invest in infrastructure projects in the state when he called on Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa at the Secretariat here, an official release said.The envoy also congratulated the AIADMK supremo for her resounding victory in the assembly elections and also for becoming Chief Minister for the third time, it said.Tan was accompanied by Singapore Deputy Consul General Ajit Singh and Economic affairs first Secretary Chan Kah Mei, the release added.Last week, Japanese Ambassador to India Akitaka Sakai had also expressed interest in investing in infrastructure projects in Tamil Nadu.
