Two minor girls and a 90-year-old woman were raped in separate incidents and six persons were arrested in connection with the incidents occurred in Garwah and Simdega districts, the police said.
A girl was on Thursday allegedly raped by four persons at a place under Bano police station in Simdega and all the accused were arrested, Simdega Superintendent of Police AV Minz said.
The names of the arrested were not immediately available.
In Garhwa district, a 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour at Sonpurua early in the morning when she went to the nearby paddy field, Sub-divisional police officer Ratneshwar Thakur said and added Ramjan Shah was arrested in the case.
In the third incident committed last night in Garhwa, a 90-year-old woman was allegedly raped by her neighbour R S Dubey Jhula village last night, Thakur said.
Dubey was arrested on Thursday, he added.
