Six suspected ultras of the People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI) were shot dead by suspected Maoists in Khunti district in wee hours on Wednesday, police said.

Six suspected ultras of the People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI) were shot dead by suspected Maoists in Khunti district in wee hours on Wednesday, police said.

All the bodies were found lying in a field near Namsili village under Murhu police station, sub-divisional police officer Ashwini Kumar Sinha said in Ranchi. He said there was an exchange of fire between the two rival factions around 1:30 AM and all the bodies were suspected to be of PLFI ultras.
