Spokesman of VCK held

CHENNAI The ‘Q’ Branch sleuths arrested Vanni Arasu, spokesperson of Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) at a lodge at Vadapalani on Saturday regarding smuggling of engine boats and equipment allegedly for an extremist group. He was arrested after a warrant was issued as he failed to appear before the court for trail, police said. He was produced before the Saidapet Court and was remanded to judicial custody for 15 days.
