Students taken ill after noon meals

MALKANGIRI: Seventeen students of Tigal Project Upper Primary School under Kalimela block limits fell ill after eating noon meal on Monday. It is suspected that the food was stale. All the students have been admitted to Kalimela Hospital.Kalimela BDO Duryodhan Naik said students started complaining of vomiting, headache and dizziness after taking the meals, particularly dal. The condition of all the students is stable and they are under observation.Locals have urged the district administration to probe the incident.
