Suris niece arrested, granted bail

HYDERABAD: Slain faction leader Gangula Suryanarayana Reddy alias Suri’s niece G Hemalatha Reddy was arrested by CID sleuths in a case related to criminal intimidation of a businessman.Based on a complaint filed by Sudheer Reddy, the police arrested Hemalatha.The slain faction leader had got involved in a land dispute case with a NIMS doctor Naga Vara Prasad Rao. Suri’s ‘killer’ Bhanu Kiran, Hemalatha and others threatened Sudheer.Hemalatha was arrested and produced in court on Wednesday.She was granted bail when her counsel moved a petition in this regard
