Chimei Innolux, Taiwan's largest LCD maker, said it has filed suits against Sony over alleged patent infringements.
Taipei: Chimei Innolux Corp, Taiwan's largest LCD maker, said on Wednesday it has filed suits against Sony Corp in the United States and China over alleged patent infringements.
Chimei said in a statement it was seeking to halt the sale of, and demand compensation over, a wide range of Sony products, including Bravia televisions, Cybershot cameras and digital photo frames.
The suits were filed in the US district court in the western district of Arkansas and in the Beijing Intermediate People's Court, it said.
