BANGALORE: Three unknown miscreants robbed a tempo driver and a carpenter of their cash and gold ornaments at Babusaabpalya in Hennur police station limits on Saturday night.The victims have been identified as Lava Kumar, a tempo driver and a resident of  K R Puram and Arogyaraj, a carpenter and resident of Kammanahalli.According to the police, Lava Kumar parked his tempo at a stand near Hennur Cross and came to a nearby bus stop to take a bus to his home. Arogyaraj who had to go to his native place in Tamil Nadu, was also waiting for a bus in the same bus stand. After some time, a white coloured Tata Indica car (KA-05-AC-9335) came towards them and Arogyaraj.  He asked the car driver to drop him till the Silk Board near Madivala and the driver agreed. He got into the car. Lava Kumar also asked to be dropped near the Tin Factory. He also got into the car. After the car started moving, two men, who were already sitting in the car, allegedly threatened the two at knife point.  They robbed Arogyaraj of Rs10,000, a gold chain worth Rs 90,000 and a mobile phone. They also robbed Rs 3,200 and a mobile phone from Lava Kumar. However, they returned the phone to him after he begged them, the police said.Later, the miscreants pushed both the victims out of the car at the Flower Garden Road in Babusaabpalya and sped away.
