Thiruvanchoor visits Justice Krishna Iyer

KOCHI: K Muraleedharan will not take any stance that will compromise the position of the Congress, Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan has said. He was speaking to reporters on the sidelines of his visit to the first Home Minister of Kerala and former Supreme Court Judge V R Krishna Iyer, here on Thursday.“Muraleedharan is a former KPCC president and he will not take any stance against the Congress,” the Home Minister said. However, he said that he was not aware of the details of Muraleedharan’s statement and hence could not make a detailed comment on it.Earlier in the day, Muraleedharan had made comments against the IUML regarding the debate over the fifth minister in the Assembly, contrary to the official stance of the Congress.During the short visit to Justice Krishna Iyer’s house, Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan sought his blessings. At the meeting, Justice Krishna Iyer narrated his experiences as the Home Minister of the state. He also enquired about the law and order situation in the state.
