AMALAPURAM: Police here arrested two more men who were allegedly associated with the kidnapping and murder of 12-year-old boy Gokavarapu Naga Vivek.Toleti Sai Venkata Phani and Mani Teja, said to be close friends of kidnapper Dangeti Ravi Chand, were picked up at the RTC bus station here on Saturday. Ravi Chand was arrested in Visakhapatnam Friday. The arrested men were produced in court and were remanded in custody for 14 days.Addl SP Avula Subba Rao said investigators have identified some 150 cricket betting transctions in Ravi Chand’s computer. he is said to have lost Rs 5 lakh and turned to kidnapping to recoup his losses. Police officials said kidnappings are spreading to the district from other parts of the state.The arrested men were presented before the media in the presence of deputy superintendent of police S Sridhar, police inspector P Murali Krishna Reddy, sub-inspector R Anka Babu and rural sub-inspector Venkateswara Rao.
