Ghaziabad: In what started out as a heated argument over a parking space, ended in a tragedy a Imother and her son were shot dead by three men in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad. The three men fired at the woman identified as Rajbala and her son Ajay in Masuri locality of Ghaziabad on Monday. The mother-son duo was taken to a hospital where Ajay died during treatment on Tuesday morning and Rajbala remains critical.
The incident took place in Masuri locality of Ghaziabad where Rajbala and Ajay objected to the three men parking their vehicle in front of their (the victims') house. After a heated argument one of the accused Bobby alias Prem, who had come to his in-laws house along with his two friends, shot at Rajbala and Ajay.
Bobby was allegedly parking his Scorpio SUV outside Rajbala's house. When she objected then Bobby and his friends started arguing and later on fired at Rajbala. When Ajay came out after hearing the gun shot, he too was fired at thrice by Bobby. The accused fled after the shooting.
Ghaziabad SP Nitin Tiwari said that police are investigating the incident and cases of murder and attempt to murder have been registered against Bobby and his two friends. Police investigation has revealed that Bobby is a history-sheeter and has more than one dozen case against his name.
