With the end of the rainy season in Uttar Pradesh, residents are eagerly awaiting the onset of winter. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an update, indicating that the weather will remain stable for now, but changes are expected by the beginning of November.
When Will Winter Start This Year?
Across the state, rainfall has ceased, leading to a slight increase in daytime temperatures. Sunshine prevails throughout the day, but cooler nights are giving residents a hint of the upcoming winter.
According to the IMD report, there will be no significant weather changes or rain until October 17, with no warning for thunderstorms or lightning.
Typically, Uttar Pradesh experiences a mild chill by Dussehra, but this year, winter seems to be delayed. While no major weather changes are expected in the second half of October, colder days are likely to arrive in the first week of November.
