Uttarakhand Governor meets less privileged children at Raj Bhavan

Uttarakhand Governor Aziz Qureshi on Sunday met more than 100 less privileged children at the Raj Bhavan in Dehradun.

On the invitation of the Governor, 117 children of bonded labourers, red light areas and other socially and economically backward backgrounds came to the Raj Bhavan, stated an official release.

The children are students of schools run by Rural Litigation and Entitlement Kendra in the rural areas of Tehri here, it said. The Governor asked the children about their future plans, interests and questions on general knowledge.
