VS summoned in Aravana case

KOCHI: The Ernakulam Judicial First Class Magistrate on Monday directed Opposition leader V S Achuthanandan to be present before the court on February 4 in connection with Aravana Corruption case. Achuthanndan was a witness in this case.Magistrate A Ijas passed the order while considering a defamation petition filed by former Travancore Devaswom Board president V G K Menon against Crime magazine editor T P Nanda Kumar. The court will also try TDB secretary Anitha and former TDB commissioner Radhakrishnan.
