New Delhi: Mobile video service Vuclip has announced an independent mobile movie portal for Indian films. Called Starlight Cinema, the portal offers more than 9000 movie clips in 13 Indian languages including Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Bhojpuri, Gujarati, Punjabi, Oriya, Rajasthani, Kashmiri, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
Starlight Cinema includes clips, trailers and first looks of upcoming and released films including trailers of Hollywood movies.
Commenting on the reason behind launching Starlight Cinema, Salman Hussain, vice president - business development and managing director, India & Middle East, Vuclip, said "While visitors search for all sorts of videos including movies, comedy, sports, music videos, raw videos, politics, news, etc. on Vuclip, our Global Video Insights reports have consistently proven that movies remain the most searched category among mobile video consumers in India."
Vuclip has also announced that it is launched dedicated mobile micro-sites for the various regional languages beginning with one for South Indian movie clips.
