World Heart Day observed

KOCHI: As part of World Heart Day, Lions Club International, 324E4, organised awareness classes and medical camps at different parts of the district on Sunday. The valedictory function of World Heart Day was inaugurated by Excise Minister K Babu at Asir Bhavan here. Lions Club district governor T A Varkey presided over the function. Expert doctors spoke on the preventive measures to be taken against heart ailments. After the function, a walkathon organised by the Lions Club members was flagged off by Dr John K Vettath.
