Youth League meet fails to finalise names

MALAPPURAM: A meeting convened by the Indian Union Muslim League leaders to unanimously decide on the new office-bearers of the Youth League, has failed to finalise the names. The meeting was presided over by Muslim League State president Panakkad Syed Hyderali Shihab Thangal and attended by senior leader P K Kunhalikutty, League secretaries E T Muhammed Basheer and K P A Majeed. They had invited district office-bearers of the party to share their opinions on the selection.  The likely candidates for various posts are: P M Sadiquali as president; C K Subair as general secretary; and P M Haneefa as treasurer. But the declaration will be made only at the Youth League state committee meeting convened on Tuesday in Kozhikode.
