Food and Consumer Affairs Minister Ram Vilas Paswan on Friday said that there is no proposal under consideration to regulate e-commerce business in the country.

NGOs or voluntary organisations (VOs) are registered as societies or charitable trusts or not-for-profit companies under central or state laws.

The Act prohibits employment of individuals as manual scavengers and prescribes stringent punishment, including imprisonment up to five years.
