BLACKPINK’s Rose has subtly teased the possibility of starting on a new musical journey. In a recent Instagram post on January 11, BLACKPINK’s Rose offered a sneak peek into a recording studio, subtly hinting at a possible new musical endeavour. The image has ignited enthusiasm among her followers, giving rise to speculation about her upcoming solo project. Interestingly, this speculation is also amplified by the recent developments within BLACKPINK, as the group collectively renewed contracts for group promotions only, leaving room for individual pursuits.

The intrigue deepens with YG Entertainment’s announcement, revealing that while BLACKPINK will continue its group activities under the YG umbrella, each member – Jennie, Rose, Lisa, and Jisoo – is set to explore solo ventures. This strategic shift marks a pivotal moment in the group’s trajectory, considering their remarkable success since forming under YG Entertainment in 2016.

Take a look at Rosé’s Instagram story here:

The possibility of Rose working on a solo project gains credibility from her interactions on social media. Numerous notable names from the US music industry have recently started following her on Instagram, hinting at potential collaborations, reports Koreaboo.

Further fueling speculation, reports surfaced of Rose having a meal with Columbia Records CEO Ron Perry, suggesting possible international endeavours too. The chart-topping K-pop girl band BLACKPINK has set its sights on new possibilities as the beloved quartet steps away from their longtime home, YG Entertainment, to explore individual solo endeavours. Their decision was made official through a press release in December, informs Soompi.

As of now, all its members have been hinting towards new projects. Apart from Rose, Jennie, on December 24, made an announcement, revealing her plans to launch a new record label and company named OA.

Jisoo has opted to collaborate with her family and joined forces with her brother’s agency Blisoo.

Meanwhile, their fourth member, Lisa is reportedly set to venture into Hollywood and is reportedly in talks to join AMC’s Walking Dead universe, as per People.

As fans eagerly connect the dots, the anticipation continues to build as followers eagerly await more details about the group members’ solo endeavours and collaborative projects.
