K-drama Stars Park Hyung Sik And Park Bo Young's Reunion Sparks Dating Rumours

K-drama Strong Girl Bong-soon’s lead actors, Park Hyung Sik and Park Bo Young, recently attended an event together. Several glimpses of the actor duo have been doing rounds on social media, leaving their fans delighted with this unexpected reunion. Last night, the pair attended a breast cancer charity event together. In the glimpses, Hyung Sik and Bo Young were seen seated next to each other. While the Doctor Slump actor wore an all-black outfit, Bo Young opted for an all-white formal ensemble for the event

The pair shared a cheerful moment, clinking their wine glasses and flashing their brightest smiles. As the video continued, they engaged in conversation with another actor and listened attentively to someone speaking at the event.

This video caused a stir amongst the Park-Park couple’s fans, who even asked the duo to get married. Due to their sizzling on-screen chemistry and adorable camaraderie in real life, fans often speculate that Park Hyung Sik and Park Bo Young have much more to their relationship than what meets the eye. In one of his previous interviews, the Happiness actor talked about his bond with Bo Young. He shared that his genuineness towards the actress made his role as Ahn Min Hyuk in Strong Girl Bong-soon his best performance to date.

While he was conversing with Na PD on his YouTube channel, Hyung Sik disclosed that the cast and crew of his 2017 romcom believed that he was dating his co-star, Park Bo Young. “When I was filming Do Bong Soon, I guess I looked at her in a way that had people asking if we had something going on. Noona (Bo Young) said to the director ‘Director, I will film you (with Hyung Sik) and watch how he looks at you. He looks at you the same way,’” said Hyung Sik.

Meanwhile, when Hyung Sik sat for an interview with Hindustan Times, he talked about his reunion with Bo Young on the 2023 K-drama Strong Girl Nam Soon, a spin-off to their 2017 drama. He mentioned, “I met Park Bo-young again after a while. I felt that she was still cute and lovely, but also a more mature and deepened person. In the six years that passed, she portrayed Do Bong-soon so perfectly that it made the passage of time seem meaningless. I could journey back to the past along with her, it was truly an enjoyable time.”

Talking about their professional front, Park Hyung Sik was last seen in the 2024 romantic K-drama Doctor Slump, acting alongside Park Shin Hye. Meanwhile, Park Bo Young’s last project was Daily Dose of Sunshine.
